From works that are the mainstay of the religious music catalogue to recently commissioned pianos sonatas by Stephen Hough, our catalogue contains works that have become standards in the educational syllabi. The Weinberger catalogue comprises a wide-ranging list of composers. It also has Peter Rose and Anne Conlon’s musicals – African Jigsaw; Arabica; Ocean World; One Sun, One World; Song of Creation; Yanomamo). Written for young voices/school performers, each of the works has an important social theme at its heart! Hough on Hyperion

Two recent CDs on the Hyperion label have brought the compositional skills of Stephen Hough to the listening public. The Missa Mirabilis and the Sonata for Cello and Piano (Left Hand) - Les Adieux are the two works in question here. The orchestral version of Hough’s Missa Mirabilis received performances by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and Chorus under the direction of the orchestra’s chief conductor, Andrew Litton last year. Paul Patterson's Gloria (Op. 21) is one of seven contemporary gems of British choral music to have been selected for broadcast and live performance across the UK in 2016/17, as part of the Royal Philharmonic Society's ENCORE Choral. Patterson premiere at Wigmore Hall

Paul Patterson's Fantasia for Harp and String Quartet (Op. 116a) - first performed at the World Harp Congress in Sydney (July 2014) - will receive its UK premiere on Sunday 21 June at London's Wigmore Hall. Originally commissioned as a test piece for harp and orchestra by the Dutch International Harp Competition, the version for harp and string quartet will be performed by the winner of that competition - Juliana Myslov - and the Sacconi Quartet.
