Wiener Frauen
Wiener Frauen (Viennese Women - 1902) was the first of Franz Lehár’s thirty-plus operettas. SYNOPSIS: Claire is about to marry the wealthy Philip, when she hears an old waltz tune being played. Her love for the waltz song, sung by her old piano teacher Willibald - whom she had also once loved, and had wrongly thought to be dead - almost keeps her from marrying Philip.
