Franz Lehár’s 1912 Rosenstock und Edelweiss is a two-hander piece written for the Vienna Cabaret Hölle, featuring the stock comic figures of cowgirl Eva Edelweiss and Jewish merchant Isidor Rosenstock from Vienna, and many amusing topical allusions of the period.
