The President was written for Max Pallenberg, one of the great European comedians. If you have a leading actor with split-second timing and the ability to sustain rapid deliveries for the duration of the play, this is the one for you! A big cast, though there are many opportunities for actors doubling parts, and well worth it for the chance to watch Norrison, the main character, directing the others in his ‘empire’ with only one hour to transform a young taxi driver into aristocracy and thus save himself from social ruin. Not to be missed!
