Armistice - musical commemoration of WW1 at Imperial War Museum North, July 2014
30 June 2014
Between the 3rd and 5th of July, visitors to Manchester’s Imperial War Museum North will be able to attend “After the Silence”, an event which will mark the centenary of the First World War in a unique way.
Featuring pop up performances by musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music, “After the Silence: Music in the Shadow of War” will create a living, audio-visual installation that explores the soundscape and emotions of the First World War in an evening of performances like no other.
As part of the event the harpist Alice Kirwan will be performing Paul Patterson’s Armistice - Reflection and Hope for solo harp.
Armistice is available to buy HERE, and for more information on works for harp by Paul Patterson click HERE
